Weather Situation A high pressure system west of Tasmania and a low near Adelaide are both slowly moving east, while a deeper low to the southeast of the state is moving towards New Zealand. The high expected just east of Tasmania tomorrow night, as the western low moves over northern Victoria, expected just east of New South Wales Tuesday night as a cold front approaches Tasmania from the southwest and a high moves over the Bight. This cold front will then cross the state Wednesday morning, with a cold, unstable southwesterly flow expected in its wake, easing slightly on Thursday as the high very slowly moves closer.
