Taylors grandparents went to take Mackenzie (Taylors sister) to a doctors appointment and found out her wheelchair van doesnt run anymore. The estimate to fix is $3000 but its a really old van so its not worth it. Something else would just go out soon and its hard to find parts for. They need a new wheelchair van so they can take her to appointments and things like that. Well, they just had to blow their savings on a new washing machine a few weeks ago. =/ Im trying to figure something out to help them with the down payment on a new van. I feel horrible when stuff like this happens. They took in their disabled granddaughter when she was born(they also raised Taylor from when he was only a few years old) and it cant be easy, especially since Shirley is a lot weaker since the brain aneurysm a few years back. Just seems like one thing after another. Ive gotta do something because she cant miss her appointments and taxi services from the island to Seattle arent cheap.
