Teacher (Teacher): Do not for any reason believe Kevin Larson, or any other board member or even Fagen if they say DCSD is attracting the best and brightest teachers to fill the hundreds and hundreds leaving every year. This summer we held interviews for some openings at our school, and yes, each position had almost 100 applicants. HOWEVER, our principal said she weeded them all out and picked the top 6-8 to interview. If these were the top 6-8 then we are in huge trouble. We asked to post the positions again to see if we could get better candidates. We are in huge trouble folks. Kevin Larson, please pull your head out of your rear and quit listening to those goons that sit next to you on the board who have no idea what education is. And, most importantly, get rid of Fagen.
