Teaching in Botswana I had a note from Dr. Amanze in Botswana, the dean of the Seminary. Im being asked to teach the Pentateuch, Biblical Exegesis and Interpretation, Church Management and Administration and Christian Education. Resources are very limited and it will be a stretch. I just wish I had kept all my OT notes from seminary days! But then that was almost 50 years ago, so lots of new information and insights. I am supposed to begin teaching January 12th, but Im hoping to get to Gaborone January 5-6 so I can get settled, get over jetlag and find my way around. They also want me to stay until April 20th which means I will have to get an extended visa. This date coincides with the semester at the University of Botswana which is nearby and where Dr. Amanze is a professor. Poor Mary, my dear, patient wife will have to make do for about 10 more days than expected. She has been encouraging me all along to do this ministry, but she is the one who will be going it alone on the home front. God love her!
