Team Captains or anyone who gets this email please pass onto all your paddling contacts and team members , Thanks Saturday June 28th as you know is the Community Challenge our biggest yet with 6 teams competing Our plan is to be ready and get the first race underway at 10 am sharp (race grid attached) I know that many of you are already involved with the various teams and for that a big thanks for all your hard work , What i need now is as many as possible to be at the boathouse for 9am on the Saturday morning to load up the boats and paddle them over to the beach by the float plane dock We need all 3 boats so all your team help is requested If we can have them beached and ready to race for 9.45 it would be awesome,as we do plan to start the races at 10am Please remember we will also need help to return everything back to the boat house after everything is finished We will need all the paddles and pfd`s , dragon heads and tails, drums platforms and drum sticks , I will be going to the boathouse on the Friday night to try to make everything easily accessible and ready to load. I have a feeling there may be some empty seats on race day so maybe come prepared to jump onto a team and help them out Also on the Friday Greg K. and myself will be on the lake putting out the race course buoys Scott will be looking after the inflatable but will need help to get the motor in place Ron will be in charge of the start line,, Donna is the finish line marshal and Dale will be in charge of the beach crew.Norman will be there taking video and recording the days events Hopefully we will have enough of our junior paddlers out to help with the beach launching timing and starting Any names or numbers yet Steve, ? They are also welcome to help paddle the boats over too .... I know we all want to make this a great success both for our guest community paddlers and ourselves ,this is why we need the help of as many as possible from all the teams I have contacted the Valley Voice online local newspaper , but can anyone help with the other local papers etc
