Tejpal Singh Tej 30 December 2014 at 10:55 Dear Sir/s, following is the letter, I dropped to the Central Office regarding the payment of medical bills for Ayurveda treatment under SBI - RETIRED EMPLOYEES MEDICAL BENEFIT SCHEME : DOMICILIARY TREATMENT scheme. This I am requesting you to make a chain of such letters to Central Office, Mumbai, please....... T. P. SINGH E-3/A-100 Shalimar Garden, Ext. – 2 (Sahibabad) (Rtd. Dy. Mgr.) Distt. – Ghaziabad (U.P.) – 201 005 Mobile - 9911414511 25.12.2014 The Deputy Managing Director & Corporate Development Officer, State Bank of India. Pension, Provident Fund & Gratuity Department, Corporate Centre, Post Box No.12, Mumbai – 400 021 Dear Sir, SBI - RETIRED EMPLOYEES MEDICAL BENEFIT SCHEME : DOMICILIARY TREATMENT PAYMENT OF MEDICAL BILLS FOR AURVEDIC TREATMENT With due respect, I beg to state that a good number of retired employees have been suffering from chronic deceases/ ailments like ARTHRITS, DIABETES etc.( Some of them are full of pains , may in Both the shoulders and other joints too) and compelled to undergo Ayurvedic treatment as no considerable relief is observed from Allopathic treatment. In Allopathic stream of treatment, almost it is advised to undergo for surgical operation/s which is not only costly but seems not to be feasible/bearable in old age/s. It is, therefore, requested that the payment of medical bills to the tune of Rs.7000/- in a year for the treatment taken under Ayurvedic system of treatment for such ailments may kindly be permitted under SBI - RETIRED EMPLOYEES MEDICAL BENEFIT SCHEME (REMBS):DOMICILIARY TREATMENT scheme till the decision for payment of bills for the treatment under Ayurvedic system of treatment for hospitalization is taken, which is said to be under consideration at Central office. In support to it, your kind attention in invited to the following points; that the Ayurvedic treatments are especially effective in paralysis, rheumatism, arthritis, spondilosis and various other ailments which is least possible in allopathic system of treatment without surgical operation; the Ayurvedic system of treatment is, otherwise, basically an Indian system of treatment which is being preferred very much in the modern days especially by the old age patients as the Ayurvedic treatments are free from surgical operations which the old age patients can’t bear with. It is also free from side effects; the Ayurvedic and Homeopathic systems of treatment is permissible in case of the active employees/officers of the Bank, than why not in case of retired employees/officers who actually deserve for it being senior citizens too; and the laid down instructions/ rule and regulations always stand subject to amendments/ changes in accordance with the Time, Place and Circumstances prevailing like Indian Constitution which met with several amendment therein so far. In view of the foregoing, it is, therefore, trusted that the retired employees/officers of the Bank would be permitted for undergoing the Ayurvedic Treatment in reputed Ayurvedic hospitals/institutions or the Ayurvedic physician not below the rank of MBBS and the bills for such treatment to the tune of Rs.7000/- in a year would be made payable under SBI- RETIRED EMPLOYEES MEDICAL BENEFIT SCHEME (REMBS) : DOMICILIARY TREATMENT. This will not only facilitate the existing retired personals but will also facilitate the employees/officers to be retired in future. Thanks a lot in anticipation. An early action is solicited. Thanks, yours faithfully, Sd/- (T.P. SINGH) (Retd. Dy. Mgr.) PF INDEX—1598910 (MEMBERSHIP NO. 20940300964) Phone—09911414511: e-mail: tejpaltej@gmail
