Tell Me Something Good - Little Charlie of Fresno just turned 8, last Monday. Two weeks prior, he was diagnosed with an inoperable rare brainstem tumor. He will undergo an experimental study at UCSF, next week in hopes to hear some good news. In just this short period of time Charlie and his family have dealt with more emotions that anyone can imagine... one of those emotions is LOVE. You see, folks have come out of the woodwork to show their support! One man reached out to Charlie and helped him live out a dream of flying an airplane! The San Francisco Giants heard about Charlie and sent him an autographed ball, a replica World Series Ring and tickets to go see a game... and a group of people pooled together to start a fund to help cover the cost of travel, time off of work and medical expenses by selling t-shirts online. Theyve already raised $6,200! I think LOVE is the greatest way of concern and support and Im proud to live here in Fresno where there are a lot of loving people.
