Tell me how far weve come Black people? Most Black people see something I dont see. I dont see any difference between the racism of today, than the racism of yesterday. We couldnt walk to the store without getting hung in the past, and we cant walk to the store now without getting shot. Is it the method that were being murdered by, that pleases us so much? We marched to stop being hung, now were marching to stop being shot. What method of being murdered are we going to march against in the future? Im sure that racist white folks can continue their innovative methods of murdering us, as long as we continue our none innovative means of accepting it. I cant believe that Im nearly 70 years old, people have landed on the moon, receiving heart transplants to live, and Black people are still marching up and down the streets of America to be free of being murdered for the crime of being Black? Do we realize that for every death of a Black person because of white supremacist racism is the murder of a completely innocent human being? How many of us have died in this 400 hundred year crusade to tame the white man? Were the only ones paying the price. Racism isnt hurting white folks. Black people arent shooting unarmed white folks down in the streets and going home like nothings happened! We ought to be tired of dying at the hands of this mentally insane white man. Hes crazy for treating us like he does, and were just as crazy as he is, to continue to accept it. We ought to want separation worse than he does, were the victims. What victim in their right mind doesnt want to be separated from the pain of being victimized? If death doesnt entice a person to separate from their abuse, do we really think marching is the answer? Because if we do, we dont need no guns for the terrorists in the Middle East, well just go over there and march until they get tired of killing us and stop. Thats the strategy we use in America. And its not working! But we continue it. There has to be a time in a persons abuse, that they say that theyve had enough and separate. When were in an abusive marriage, its called divorce. When its not working, its not working. 400 years isnt at least a hint that its not working? We put more faith in the white man than we do in God!!!!
