Tell me is the art of pretending now reached epidemic proportions. ie do people now go about their lives making out they have been places and seen things merely by posting a photo of signs rather than experiencing the actual thing that the sign advertises. We had somebody photograph an entire family around our spinning sign, when in fact they had not gone in. If it was the fascination of the sign itself, then a photo of the sign would have been enough. This is interesting...has social media now reached a point where we can pretend rather than do to make out we did something. Life is about experiences, we hope that people experience what we have to offer rather than take a photograph. I mean people do have to travel to places to take these photos...personally If I spend money to go to places I like to spend money and experiences things when i get there, most things cost money. Thats just the way it is, I wish we could just work for free, not have to pay for anything etc, but the world is based on exchanging. I hope this is not a growing trend, or I can see ticket booths opening up on signposts??? Then we would need another sign telling people not to take photos of the signs, or a sign saying it costs money to take photos of signs etc...
