Tell us your favorite story: Today is World Storytelling Day which is a global celebration of the art of oral storytelling. We are sharing this information with you because our World Masquerade Ball being held on May 31 is a fundraiser to help complete the documentary Dates for Coffee. Dates for Coffee illuminates an Arabian folklore tradition and it’s connection to broader Arab narrative and national identity. The documentary also takes a look at some of the stories and idioms that shape American society as well. Narrative & story has the power to shape our reality. Ultimately, through our work, we are hoping that this documentary can be a tool contributing to global relations strategy in terms of supporting the master narrative framework for international engagement.
