Ten years ago,August 2004 I was told I had cancer, on September 23, 2004, the day after my 40th birthday I was scheduled for surgery to remove my right kidney, (great birthday present to my self lol) I had all the ts crossed and is dotted in fear that the worst would be the outcome, but with the love of a wonderful wife and support of family, friends and the POWER of GOD, I am able today to say Thank you Jesus, for allowing me an additional 10 years with the people I love, I have not always live the perfect life, Really, who does? But there are times like today that make you aware just how lucky a man you are. I ask that all of my friends, family, bothers and sisters of the fire service take a moment today, look around those that you are closest to, give them a hug, say a prayer for them, even if you dont think they need it, let them know that you LOVE them, because tomorrow is another day, and you never know what it might bring. LOVE you!!!!
