Tenth Life transferred sweet Nimbus (the cat on the right) from City of Saint Louis Animal Care and Control, who rescued him from the streets before winter took a stronghold in St. Louis. His eyes showed a potential need for future specialized care, making him a good fit for our organization. His congenital condition, eyelid agenesis, makes for distinctive-looking eyes, but does not seem to cause him any pain. Nimbus immediately won our hearts with his silky-soft fur and calm, appreciative demeanor. Days later, St. Louis Feral Cat Outreach was asked to help with a kitty who had bolted into someones house immediately before a foot of snow and frigid temperatures set in. When the group posted Cirrus photo online his uncanny resemblance to Nimbus was undeniable. Turns out, both kitties came from the exact same location in the city. Looking nearly identical, we can only assume the boys are brothers. This video records their reunification. Their immediate, unquestioning recognition of each other made our hearts melt. We are thrilled to have brought these sweet cats back together.
