Teris Divine Aha Moment of the Day: Sometimes we have to get out of our own way, get out of our heads, and take off the shaded semi-opaque glasses we wear to truly view and perceive the blessings all around us. These past few weeks have been mentally and physically challenging for me. As much as I have wanted to display the appearance of great health, the mask that I wore was very transparent to my loved ones arounds me. They could see right through it and witnessed my vulnerability. However, the love they showered me with was unconditional. It made me uncomfortable because I am used to being the strong type who puts on a brave face and always showers my love upon others regardless of any situations or conditions... not the other way around. But today my mother mentioned something to me that was very profound. She said, Giving and receiving IS ONE in the same... When people offer their love, care, support and assistance, accept it in the same manner as if it YOU, with all your loving intentions, were the one offering it. I contemplated on this for a while, and came to the conclusion that I have to learn how to open up more and learn to receive. Basically, get out of my own way... Sometimes the easiest lessons are the hardest to incorporate. I know by sharing this with you, you will be blessed. Peace, Love, and Light. .. ~TLH #LifeLessons #LoveLessons
