Terms of endearment. I sometimes hear people whether male or female, strangers or not calling others, Honey, sweety pie, babe, darling, doll, etc,. Personally I usually save those endearments for the one I am with, in fact only for that person. I personally do not use terms of endearment at least romantic ones with others as to not send the wrong signal or cause confusion as to intent. Of course this excludes family, children etc,.As I am referring to romantic relationship only here in this topic. What do you think about this, should terms of eadearment be reserved for a significant other or should it be open to anyone that happens by ?
