Sampson Update: I know some of you are wondering about Sampsons diagnosis. I didnt post anything right away because I wanted Brieanna home from college so I could tell both kids together. Sampson has been diagnosed with Hemangiopericytoma. Its a type of cancer that, if not all tissue is removed, can come back in the same place. His is low-grade, which is good. Unfortunately, because the tumor was so big and was deep into the surgical margin, she was not able to get it all out. Therefore it will most likely grow back. I do not plan on putting him through radiation at almost 12yo. And when it does grow back wed most likely have to amputate part of his leg, which probably wont be an option either at his age. So we will just spoil him rotten, love him every day, and let him live his life to the fullest until he cant any more. We are living life for the day with him. The important part is that the area is healing nicely considering she didnt have a whole lot of skin to close the area with. For now, thats what matter most. And of course the fact that hell be able to run and jump after water from the hose this summer! :) Thanks everyone for you thoughts and prayers during these past few weeks.
