Tesco is the largest super market in Phayao, grocery and meat prices increase every week, prepackaged foods are less weight, the popular brand of milk is 1.8 L as compared to a previous pack of 2.00 L . The not so popular brands are still 2.00L We shopped at a competitor in Chiang Rai last week, guess what, milk is 2.00L irrespective of brand, canned goods have a greater content. Tesco shelf price for 1.8 L is of course cheaper than the shelf price of other brands of 2.00L but more expensive per ml. Tesco are up to all the tricks in the book(s)but you wouldnt expect anything else knowing the companies heritage. Just watch Woolworths in Australia, because I believe there is a connection between the two companies and its not just LynFox .
