Thank You Boyne City....Because of your donations Boynes Awesome Football Team made the trip to Ford Field in Detroit to watch the Michigan State High School Finals ....They made the trip in a Deluxe Motor Coach, treated to tickets, lunch and dinner after the game....Don Owen and myself made the trip with these Fine Young People (we had volunteered to be chaperones ..but both Don and I are Grads of BCHS and I guess our reputations preceded us.. but did allow us to make the trip with the Team) ....Both Don and I was so impressed with these Kids....Have to say it was a laugh a second...During the Ithaca Game (the team that beat out Boyne on their bet to make the Finals) they went over a sat with Ithaca Fans to cheer them on..not were we impressed but so was Ithacas Fans.....What a Class Act....During Dinner at Buffalo Wild Wings we knew that something was up as a lot of whispering .... we soon found out...they knew if someone had a Birthday they got a super large ice cream sunday....they had told the waiter that Coach Hills it was his Birthday What a surprise when they brought it they all stood up and sang Happy Birthday...even funner it was not his birthday.....I have to say again Don and I was so impressed with these Fine Youth ....BOYNE TOUGH.......
