Thank all of you for all of your comments and feedbacks. We believe that Educando Podemos can make the difference one day at time united with the Dominican community. The impressive social work that some young women and men have accomplished in such a short time (guided by some of our leaders) should serve as an inspiration for all. The gift of time and work of love can truly make a significant difference in the life of each and every person involved in every mission. Giving is rewarding and priceless indeed! Currently the little school, Auntie Anyi School, has an enrollment of 30 preschool students. See the latest pictures to really appreciate the size of the physical space--- one tiny room, Auntie Anyi and her instructor assistant, trying to follow the Montessori philosophy to make the best use of the only space they have. These are our urgent needs: 1. Replace the roof. 2. Reinforce the mud wall as it was advised by our friend and collaborator and architect, Guaroa Noboa. See pictures. Also we appreciate our friend and engineer, Octavio Medina, who contacted us to offer his help in any way before severe weather hinder all of the progress they have been blessed in less than a month work.
