Thank you everyone for the birthday wishes. I love you all and really appreciate your best wishes. Could not help but lay in bed this morning and think of the days gone by. Doesnt seem possible that 80 years have passed. I thought of my clothes that were up to date as a teenager and all hand made by my mother on her old Singer machine. That took me to my underwear again and I remember my mother making them out of sugar or flour sacks. Back then you bought that sort of thing in cloth bags. She would bleach them out as best she could and bingo we had underwear. I shared this story with my kids before so it is not new to them. My mother did not own a pair of slacks so of course her clothes were always make like mine. Only thing is if she bent over in the garden and her dress drew up you might still see the letters of 50 pounds of pure cane sugar where as mine only read 10 pounds of pure cane sugar. Have a grin on me today and enjoy the day to the fullest. Love you all.
