Thank you everyone for the prayers and well wishes for Will. Here is the update: they released him tonight to have the rest of the tests done as an outpatient. I know it is wrong of me to vent, but we were even told by a worker if we had insurance they probably would have kept him until all tests were done. But neither here nor there, he is home. Still has some discomfort but resting a little more comfortably at home. He will continue to carry Nitro tablets and will begin a very strict cardio diet. Dr. said he is in no immediate danger, enzimes have been good over the last 8 hours, he passed the stress test this morning without extreme changes in his heart pattern, he still has some tightness but the sweats and headache have diminished. Dr. Badro believes the (clot busters) did their job in the ER. Game Plan: Dr. Badro will schedule the cardio catherization as an outpatient. He will repeat some blood work on Friday. No strenuous activity or lifting over 5 lbs. Low Sodium, Low Cholesterol and no Caffeine diet! Much rest is in his near future.
