Thank you for all the birthday wishes. Never would I have imagined that on my birthday I would wake up in a North Carolina beach condo living room strewn with ribbons. At the end of each ribbon (that my 81 year old mom hung up at 3 am, climbing on the sofa and chairs (yikes)) were cards from the kids and grandkids, a card promising me my favorite cake when we return to my parents home in Richmond, a beach devotional, and a vase full of gerbia daisies! Morning spent on the sunny beach, afternoon spent at Orville and Wilbur Wright Museum of Flight and fabulous dinner of crab cakes! I am so happy to have this time with my parents! Talk about spoiled!
