Thank you for having me as a member. Im from The Netherlands and would like you to meet Fleur. She was found about 4 weeks ago and was was covered with poop and flees when I got her. She was about 4 weeks old and sick, very sick with fever, puking and diarrhoea. A day earlier the shelter brought us a week old litter of 5 kitties. They had the disease and all 5 of them died sadly enough. Fleur has a strong will to live and survived, but a few days later she got sick again. She was very constipated and the vet wanted to put her to sleep. Because of her will to live wr didnt agree. A week later shes still alive and very loving. She weighs halve of what she should weigh and has problems with her motoric skills. We also must be aware of constipstion problems shes treated for. Fleur is a CH kitten but loved by so many people, theyre raising money for her and she even has her own facebook page calles wonderkitten Fleurtje. I hope her CH problems will get a bit better in future. My family is a fosterfamily for the local shelter for 5 years now, but Fleur is a a kittie we took in ourselves, so shes our responsibility. So Im trying to found out more about CH cats.
