Thank you for letting me join the group. I am in possession of a letter dated 1912. The letter was written by T.F. Gregory.(there is a third initial but unable to read it) The stationary has Gregory Brothers Family Grocers Wine and Spirits Merchants. Pier Street Ryde, I.W. The letter was written to a Mrs. B.C. Wright. The letter seems to be in aid about sending her son to Canada for work through the Salvation Army Immigration. In the letter T.F. Gregory states he has sent three boys to various places. The last son being 14 years old and sending him to Toronto, Canada for work. The letter never states his sons names. But I have found the 14 year old sons name to be John Henry Gregory. b. 1898. If anyone could find a census, possibly the 1900. I am thinking it would have all three sons names. My goal is to possibly find a relative that would be interested in receiving the letter. I am an avid ancestry researcher. But I do not have an international account. What I have found has been through familysearch.org. Attached is the manifest for John Henry Gregory arriving in the States. He is listed # 10. I also have the manifest for when he is arriving in Canada. It has basically the same information. Any help or information would be greatly appreciated!
