Thank you once again for all the teams who played and help make our tournament the biggest in Vegas! All of our teams were very well matched! D-1 semis were both great games! #1 Ghetto Birds over #4 CTS #2 SourceOne Wolfpack over #3 Bay Kings Then #1 Ghetto Birds shocked the tourney with an 13-6 upset win over SourceOne, and a perfect 5-0 tourney to win D-1 and bringing the Championship back to San Diego where New Hustle had won it last year. D-2 was really just great D1 teams that had lost some close games in the earlier round. The defending D-1 champs New Hustle had lost a close game to SourceOne in the 1st round to drop down to D-2. From there they rolled with a 24-8 Win over Outkast, and a 18-6 win over Montanas Fiddlers Green to make it to the D2 Championship. Mean while fellow San Diego Team and long time rival SD Express beat Sac Town Ballers 22-8, and then had a nail biter with Taco Surf 7-6 to advance to the D2 title game, setting up a rematch of the Robb Field title game where SD Express won. The two teams went back and forth but in the end New Hustle won 27-19 to take home the D-2 title. D-3 semis were also good games! Rolling Armadillos over Finishem 19-17 and SF Showtime over Rockers 20-8. Then SF Showtime took care of business and took home the D-3 title 31-14. Congrats to all of our winners! 5 Man was also very competitive! D-1 quarter finals The Program over Crystal Palace 40-30 and X Stars over Rockers 42-24. D-1 Semis saw the Program take out the Suspects and Those Guys over X Stars. Then a solid Championship game but in the end Those Guys proved to be the best 5 man team that weekend with a perfect 4-0 weekend. Congrats to them! D-2 semis saw the Cowboys over Swagger and Toon Squad over THX. Toon Squad and Cowboys both won to set up an all Xflagfootball D-2 Championship game. Toon Squad played a great game and took home the D-2 title! Thank you again for all the teams that played and to all of our winners! See you next year!
