Thank you to all members of SKA, CSU Long Beach, and CSU Fullerton who attended and supported our 2nd Annual Jiyu Kumite Seminar & Long Beach Tournament. We had a total of 36 participants at this workshop including 16 white belts, 5 brown belts, and 15 black belts. Dojo representation ranged from San Leandro, Simi Valley, South Bay, Valley, La Habra, Ontario, CSU Long Beach, CSU Fullerton, Garden Grove, Lake Forest, to San Diego. The seminar and tournament was a successful event as junior members diligently practiced new kumite techniques and concepts showing strong spirit throughout the whole worshop. Black belts assisted in the tournament as main referees and corner judges polishing their skills in officiating. It is with great enthusiasm to see a new generation of young strong fighters of SKA. Congratulations to all 19 competitors and the medalist of the Long Beach Tournament.
