The message that comes with pond is actually a profound one. The surface of a pond is usually quite calm and often covered in algae and lily pads. The result is that most of the amazing life forms and rock formations below are not visible. What appears on the surface is no indication of what may be occurring in the depths of the pond. My feeling for those of you who chose pond is that you have recently been projecting an air of calm despite the very real emotions and concerns that you are keeping bottled up. Allow whatever feelings you are suppressing to rise to the surface. Acknowledge and express your feelings; free yourself from their hold on you. Clear the muddied waters of your emotional pond and bring new life, clear perception, and healing into the light. Red-winged Blackbird: The red-winged blackbird is a stunningly beautiful bird; his feathers are sleek, shiny black and his wing is colored in bright red and yellow. He makes a very loud, shrill kind of call that always gets my attention. It’s as if he is saying: Hey! Look at me! I matter! And of course, you do! Those who chose this amazing bird are called to speak your truth, loud and clear with kindness and conviction. It is only you who suffer if you fail to say how you really feel about someone or something. There is no room for misperceptions or distortions of truth in your life. Your words and your voice are very powerful tools. Be careful to use them to uplift and enlighten others. Remember to respect the feelings of others and remember to expect that same respect be given to you. Dragonfly: Dragonflies are amazing creatures who spend their time near bodies of water. Their transparent wings are a reminder that all may not be as it seems in your life at this time. Life itself is illusion; the true reality of yourSelf and your divine purpose is found by going deep within. Dragonflies have a very short life span, and this may be a reminder to you to live in and savor the present moment...the past is gone forever, and the future is waiting for you to create and experience it. Dragonflies have incredibly sharp eyesight. As they skim across the surface of the water, they are asking you to look beyond the physical, material side of your life and look into the deepest recesses of your heart and your mind. Tree: Trees are ancient symbols of man’s eternal yearning for knowledge and oneness with the Universe. Those who chose tree as their symbol are most likely balanced and grounded in body, mind and spirit. You are blessed with a never-ending thirst for knowledge and new concepts, a bit restless at times, never completely satisfied with your latest bit of learning. You may feel at times as if you want your mind to be opened to all the secrets that the Universe has to offer you...you want it all! I believe that some of you have come through a rather stormy or rocky time recently, but its effects on you were temporary.
