Thank you to all who wished me a Happy Birthday today! Today, at 55, I start anew. Maybe the first half has passed, maybe it is my last day. One never really knows. Today, a day of contrast, extremes and the moment to moment thoughts that create a reality. Today, a roller coaster ride of 55, feeling grateful to have friends that have been with me through it all, known me for who I am, watched me in my glory and picked me up out of the dirt and washed the tears from my cheeks. Today a ping pong of I have hope for the future, for my life, for the difference I make, for the Gift I am and I feel old, fat, ugly and broke. Yup, its all of it and everything in between. Today aware of all the people around the world who are homeless, have no food, no clean water, maybe live in refugee camps or work their asses off to make it work, whatever it is, to the best of their ability. Today, I think of all the struggles of being alive, being human, no matter how much money you have, who your parents are, home may wives or husbands you have, how your kids turned out, how many times youve been fired, how many losses youve experienced, how many times youve started over, been broke, hit the bottom, lost your friends and loved ones......just all of it. This experience of being human takes all we have and thank god we are so resilient and have so much potential waiting to burst forth within us. May we be each others invitation to greatness and Infinite possibility. Every thought is like a fork in the road, a path leading to a destination, all from one thought. Each and every day....self assessment, asking new questions, getting back on the horse, looking in the mirror, hitting the reset button and daring to be a better version of who I am as I use my imagination to create the brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous person I am, see that in you and share this amazing Journey of a Lifetime. Shine on my Friends, wherever you are. Shine on! Our Greatest Fear —Marianne Williamson it is our light not our darkness that most frightens us Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. Theres nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people wont feel insecure around you. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. Its not just in some of us; its in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, Our presence automatically liberates others. —Marianne Williamson
