Thanks Baltimore City Paper! ...Not the nicest article...but youve gotta expect some snark. When a giant LED screen suddenly appears featuring ads alongside contributions from artists, writers, and photographers (like a newspaper for example), there is going to be some reluctance to accept it. A lot of assumptions made here, but hopefully in time as more and more great and talented artists share their work through the board, we can put those concerns to rest. The truth is, its a screen. Its not inherently good or evil. It has no consciousness other than the one projected on to it by those who participate. There are some absolutely incredible artists featured on the board who deserve to be prominently featured in lights for all of Baltimore to see, and that is all I hope to accomplish.
