Thanks Kevin Miller of KIDO 580 Radio. We had a spirited discussion this morning on the air regarding the education crisis that exists in Idaho today, namely, the students have no textbooks or electronic media containing text for the kids to bring home to augment their learning outside the classroom. This prevents parents, guardians and grandparents from being able to assist their children attending public schools from being able to mentor them at home. It was great to meet many contributors to the program and to celebrate with Kevin his recent receipt of the Marconi Award, and finally put to rest the question whether Kevins mother actually loved her son more than I! The cause we helped today was the Boise Rescue Mission. The dollars you give assist the mission in helping the homeless and those trying to overcome substance addiction become productive members of our community again. If you have done it unto the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. Kevin doesnt just talk the talk about abiding the principle of loving thy neighbor as thyself, he walks the walk; and we are fortunate to have him and his wife in our community.
