Thanks Krishna Nair for the #booksbucketchallenge nomination. that was a pleasant surprise :) i find it hard to choose the best 10 as most of my reads are scattered across different genres . since am in good mood to type, for a change i will list 10(+) major reading landmarks/books/authors in my life . #fiction - long long back . thanks a lot to H&C Publishing House for all those cheap 10 ₹ reads which invited me to vivid world of books. they were translated in simple malayalam and invited me to the world of tenali rama,mulla,panchatantra,arabian nights etc . used to own a huge pile of these books / which i spent all my pocket money on, donated later to various kids - Enid Blyton - Famous Five series . 7/8 th standard , was trying out my luck with english books . am glad i found these . along with Hardy Boys , Nancy Drew books, her other series like Secret Seven , adventure series, mystery series helped me through all those high school class hours. - Harry Potter - J.K. Rowling , i have read much fiction after these books, but nothing would ever kill the nostalgia of that wait for John Francis to bring the 7th book to class and actually touch it . - Sherlock Homes - Arthur Conan Doyle still tops in my list of #mystery #intrgue #investigation even above my Agatha Christie , Sidney Sheldon reads . - Mark Twain Books - The Adventures of Tom Sawyer , The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn disrupted my dream world of #magic , #adventure with something more. - The Kite Runner - Khaled Hosseini give me a more harder dose of reality . thanks to Sushmita Rao for persuading me with this book . - One night at the call centre - Chetan Bhagat his books may not top in many lists, but made me complete all his books in a week or so. - The Alchemist - Paulo Coelho just no words for this one . tried one or two other books after this. still ... - digital books changed everything . Eragon , Chronicles of Narnia , The Hobbit , Twilight Saga , The Cirque Du Freak Series . a lot of new titles to my list. #pirate - A Game of Thrones - A Song of Ice and Fire by George R R Martin , The Immortals of Meluha current fiction reading list ... #everythingelse - How I Braved Anu Aunty and Co-founded a Million Dollar Company - a book i really needed in my life . - Steve Jobs: The Exclusive Biography by Walter Isaacson - my fav #biography . - worlds best magic tricks - charles barry townsend . for the hobby started from 9th grade this book along with few others helped a lot . cause it was really hard to learn the secrets only few people are willing to share . #preyoutubeworld - Im Feeling Lucky: The Confessions of Google Employee Number 59 - Edwards Douglas for showing me the insides of my favourite tech company in this planet . - The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari - Robin Sharma personality development book thats not boring , his other titles are also worth reading . - OReilly Media for the wonderful books on programming , none which i have even completed. yet came handy very often . - Design For Hackers for teaching me to think like a designer . - Men Are from Mars, Women Are from Venus this was one the first non fiction book i spent much time with . think it helped a lot to understand venusians more .. - You Can Draw in 30 Days - Mark Kistler cause i love art , i love to draw. and this book is for people irrespective of their skill level . helped me improve a lot . - countless awesome blog posts on internet , and the posts on Medium , Quora enriching me with knowledge on countless subjects. for people who love words , i hope i didnt bored you with mine . i might have missed mentioning few good titles , have skipped mentioning the epics and few malayalam authors from my list . but this somewhat summarises my #bookbucket . #booksbucketchallenge I nominate Vishnu Narayanan Akash Kurian Jose Sony Mathew Amal Murali Anto Dominic .
