Thanks, everyone, for so much encouragement this year. It meant a great deal. 2014 was rewarding, but it was rough. Everything was new, challenging or both: different CNN roles, living bi-coastally, returning to the Green For All board, incubating #cut50 at Rebuild The Dream, working with Prince to launch #YesWeCode. We did well. But it took everything we had -- plus some divine assistance. This year, I was on an airplane at least once every week, except for maybe two. So I want to thank God/Goddess for my family, for my team and for my health. All three paid a price in 2014. Deepest love and appreciation to Jana Carter, who once again held it all together. The new year holds huge promise for our fight to close prison doors, open doors of opportunity and build a greener economy. I will do all I can to help our communities prevail and thrive. But I will also work for more personal balance in 2015. This is a marathon. Many, many more miles to go, God willing. Anyway, much love to everyone. And happy 2015.
