Thanks for adding me...this is my brother Ralphs obituary and our mother Marjorie (Margie) Newton - (Hathaway) passed on November 20th, 2004..(81)...she ran the polisher in Compressors...if you would please add them to the list...also my nephew Michael D. Newton wasnt a Jr. ... Thanks Ralph E Bergen 74 passed away peacefully at home, on February 24, 2014. He was the son of Lewis Bergen and Marjory (Rowe) Newton. The loving grandson of Lonnie and Pearl Rowe. He was married to Billie Ann Taylor in June of 1960, they had five children, Renita (Belinda) Bergen, Rebecca Cirino, Regina (Roger) Monfreda, Russell (Robin) Bergen. Eleven grandchildren, William “Charlie” and Anna Harader, Riley, Bailey, Sidney and Alexander Cirino, Madison and Cooper Monfreda, Kristian Wright, Danielle (Alan) Irvin, and Jonathan Hale, and two great grandchildren. Ralph is preceded in death by his Grandparents, an infant daughter Angela, his father Lewis, step mother Krystyna , mother Marjorie, and step father Elva Newton,and his sisters Novice Stikeleather and Sonja Hicks. His surviving Siblings are Ruby Shera, Dwight Newton, Vickie Mcintosh, Barbara Idzerda, Bennie Newton, Cheryl Lawrence, Genovefa Lafollet , Bette Southerland, Cindy Wells, and Michael Bergen. And two very special double first cousins Carl Bergen and Bobby Rowe. Ralph was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He then worked for Visteon and its successors retiring after 42 years. His happiest times were spent farming. He enjoyed raising cattle, pigs and goats and growing any crop. In lieu of flowers the family request paying forward kindness and love, in his honor. His last act of love and kindness was to donate his body to IU school of Medicine. A Memorial service will be held at 2:00 on Saturday March 1 at Park Place Church of God, with a reception following.
