Thanks for all the love and concern for our grandson Ross. After endoscopy and bronchoscopy it was found that he has a hole in his esophagus and that is where the bacteria escaped into blood stream causing the meningitis. Poor guy has been put through the mill and then some. He is much more alert and his lab results are coming in much better namely swelling on the brain and his white blood counts. We pray this nightmare ends shortly. He had trachea malasia as an infant so there was some scarring and calcium deposits which they figure broke off and caused the hole in the esophagus. We so appreciate all the prayers love and support. It has been quite the week. Kim finally went home last nite and slept. Brad stayed the nite with Ross. Lauren spent time with him this morning and said he was a bit better. She is so good about reporting to us. A wonderful sister for sure. Will update when he is to have the surgery
