Thanks for all the love in my former post peeps. Paul Johnson even started a love fest off it. Feeling sentimental, I give you this story from my mom: My 11 year old was in the car with her today. He says, Nani can I please turn the radio up. My dad just loves this song. It really hit me then how big an influence we are on our childrens lives. We always realize the big ideas we impress upon them, but I was amazed that this little moment stuck. He only heard that song once with me, I know that. But that one day while I was pontificating on the greatness of a song, the chord changes, the vocals, he was paying attention, and now that song means something to him. So heres the thing. Maybe you dont have kids. But know that you have impacted someones life, even in a little way, and they carry that moment with them now, and make it their own.
