Thanks for the INCREDIBLE response to see Arnie Becker back in - TopicsExpress

Thanks for the INCREDIBLE response to see Arnie Becker back in action! I read through all your comments and believe I only saw 2 that said, No, never again, GO AWAY! Some wanted to see some change/growth in him, and to be sure that will happen, but we have to begin with Arnie being Arnie, and what I have in mind does just that. Of course, lots of hurdles to make this show happen, convincing networks etc. In the event I cant get it off the ground I have a back up plan; a different show and new character to study. Ive come to realize that a common trait and the core of many of the characters Ive played over the years and in various projects like LA LAW and Major League - and maybe even a little of Psych, is a guy who on the surface seems to have it all but lacks a spiritual center, not just faith, but rather the very barometer, a connection to the greater purpose, that I personally seem to understand. It is with that barometer in place that I have an empathy for these characters. The empathy thing my mom taught me years ago and weve discussed here often. Empathy. I employ that on all the characters I play. So well see where it goes from here but in the meantime Im happy to share the title of the series - whatever it is, for you to ponder; On the Rocks. Let the metaphors begin! On another front, proud papa once again. My youngest son, the silent one has snuck up on us and become the second emerging filmmaker of the family. And I do mean, snuck up on us. He quietly goes about his business, the youngest of my four sons, learning how to manage and make the greatest use of living in the shadows of three older brothers. He surprised my wife and I yesterday, literally with an Indigogo campaign to raise $750 for a short film he is making with a few friends at school. In the campaign he has put up a short trailer for the film - CRAZY 8s. Maybe its just being a proud dad, but its pretty cool. Short, sweet and very stylish! While I hesitate to reach out to our community here every time one of my kids comes up with an idea that employs a crowd funding campaign, I wouldnt be doing my fatherly duty if I didnt. So Im reaching out to you and my entire contact list. PLEASE, PLEASE, I understand that funds are tight for many, so DO NOT feel any obligation here. But if you can at least share it with your friends, families, social communities, well, that would be awesome. I have no doubt that hell reach his goal of $750 and of course Im throwing in a few bucks, but awareness is the other ingredient here so please help spread the word. Its my kid right, gotta do it! Enjoy your Sunday and you families! https://indiegogo/projects/crazy-8s
