Thanks so much everyone for the Birthday wishes! I am filled up with well wishes, enough for the whole year through! And let me tell you, I will savour everyday of the this year ahead! Hahaha! I had a chance to spend time with some pretty important people this weekend while enjoying good food and drinks while listening to the sweet voices of the Luther Vandross/ George Micheal Duo who entertained us. We asked them to sing Hallelujah and within a few minutes the entire restaurant was singing...that moment was precious as I watched and listened to my parents sing, my sister her husband and my husband enjoying the song. Just for a moment I stopped, took in all in and realized something.. This year hasnt been easy and I am ok with not being completely settled here yet in my new town but what I realized in that moment, is, its not where you are, but who youre with! Yesterday when I went for my morning run I felt so grateful for everything in my life....even my new Golf clubs ( LOL) My head may still be back in Oakville, but my heart is here in Amherstburg!
