Thanks to Laura Cunningham for this. I first heard her (on radio in San Diego) when I came back to the US in April, 1968, along with Leonard Cohen, Velvet Underground, Fugs (Morning, Morning - about the only air-playable thing they ever did), Phil Ochs, etc. This was on KPRI, and the DJ I remember most from the daytime was Gabriel Wisdom; later there was Larry Himmel, Adrian Zacker, and a bunch of others. Anyway, those of you who know who she is should go visit her site and listen for a while. Those who dont.... well, you should listen to her music for a bit, also. Some of you will like it.
