He will require a German-certified coach to be present during any examples of dog training. And another source: ...the test was introduced to all dog training businesses to come effective on 1st August 2014. CM applied for an exception which was denied and then failed in every category of the exam. Now he is not allowed on stage as a trainer. He can have someone there who has the qualification, but he is not allowed to handle dogs. And heres what the German test allegedly entails, thanks to Marion AndCharlie Teichman (see comments): The working group came to this conclusion and the following shall be tested at the proficiency examination: • Ethology Dog: Basics, racial differences, behavioral development dog • Expressive behavior of dogs, communication behavior of dogs against other dogs and people • Legal questions of dog training • Problem behavior, causes and development, anxiety and aggression prevention in everyday life and in the dog training • Stress in dogs, measures to reduce stress and stress management • Request to the veterinary basic knowledge of dog trainers • Demands on the skills of dog trainers • Learning theory and humanely training, corrections in everyday training, aids in training • Training Design: Creation of a training plan, course design, lines of dog sports and other forms of employment of dogs, including their training requirements, animal welfare related issues in the various divisions / training processes __________________________________________________ If only the USA could get on board with this. Hopefully this opens the eyes of CM supporters.
