Thanks to all of my British and American friends who attended my “Boxing Day” event – your presence was greatly appreciated and made the holidays a joy. But, especially to some very special ladies without whom I would still be doing dishes this morning and attempting to find room in the fridge. Lesley Thompson who acted as my sui-chef yesterday – I don’t think I would have been ready in time for the influx of 50+ hungry guests without you help – THANKS SO MUCH. And the team of Dianne Brooks, Margaret, Liz Dormon and Candi whom after partying all afternoon and evening stood in my kitchen for what appeared to be hours and hand washed the crystal – that I insisted on using (no plastic glasses for my Champaign) and Lesley’s Mum who made the most wonderful lemon curd for the “Pavs” Thanks – and I hope you enjoyed yourselves enough that you will agree to come and try it again next year. I am so very fortunate that I have such wonderful friends in my life. Oh, and not to forget Madelyn Kinemond – who brought Danny’s special “egg nog” that none of us could get enough of --- we all want the receipt. Love to all. Maggs
