Thanks to everyone that came along to last nights AGM. We welcome a few changes to the committee this year, and say thanks to a few people stepping down. Firstly, a massive thanks to Verne Towgood who after 5 years of absolute commitment to the club as President is stepping back to have a rest this year, but the great news for us as a committee is that Verne will be staying on as Vice President, which I am personally excited about if you see Verne at the next race, be sure to say thanks to him, and also Julie - I have only seen part of the work they have put in, and its mind boggling! We also say thanks to Michael O’Dowd (and Fiona O’Dowd :) who have done an amazing job in the last couple of years as our Registrar and other roles previous to that. Also thanks to Leigh Perrow who was most recently Race Director and having helped out with other roles also prior to that. And lastly, thanks to Mark Roots who organized some awesome events in the last year or so as our Events Coordinator. You’ll hear more updates from our AGM, and in particular some information from the club survey. But for now, please congratulate and welcome your committee - we’re all looking forward to helping provide an amazing club. On a personal note, I couldn’t be more excited and proud to be President of a club that I’ve been part of for I think over a decade now, and I may be biased, but I think, the best Tri Club in the state/country!!
