Thanks to everyone who has commented and particularly those who have appreciated the work done over the years. Just to explain most of the military sites have a land agent whos job it is to extract money. They also have security issues that are complex. We do not generate enough income to cover the costs. We needed 80+ rider at Portreath to break even. Most of the WW11 ( counted 6 so far!) sites do not have tarmac of a quality that we can use.
