Thanks to everyone who has prayed for Maks, and for sending healing thoughts his way. He just got out of surgery, and he is resting comfortably at the moment. The surgeon said he had the worst ruptured disc he has ever seen. Lots of clotting, and so much swelling on his spinal cord that he had to cut the dura to let the swelling expand. His spinal cord is extremely bruised, and he will probably never walk again, his disc basically exploded. They said this was caused by years of small traumas to his back from running, jumping, and twisting- basically just being a very active Frenchie. Maks has always lived life to the fullest, and we pray that he will continue to do so. Right now we just want him comfortable at home. Hopefully we can start therapy in the next few months, and our goal is for him to be able to adjust to life in a wheel chair. Please continue to pray, Our Father grants miracles every day.
