Thanks to survivorlookinforfun for the great 5 star review on TripAdvisor! I hated to leave this hotel. I spent my last vacation night at the Provident/Warwick HGI. Upon my arrival, I was exhausted and was out of sorts. I was greeted by such a wonderful and warming smile. The name behind the smile, Lynn. Lynn was very welcoming. She helped me smile and laugh about my current fatigued inspired silliness. She could see I was too exhausted to take one more drive. She suggested I try the restaurant in the hotel. I did and the food was delicious. I later took advantage of the heated pool and hot tub. I managed to get in 20 minutes of pool time before it closed at 10pm. My room was very comfortable and was everything I expected and hoped. There it was my nice clean serene King sized bed waiting for me with open arms. My room was equipped with plenty of towels, wash cloths, and hand towels. There was a writing desk with an ergonomic chair. A nice large screened flat screen TV was perfect. There is a mini refrigerator, microwave, and an area with a Keurig machine. There were coffees, teas, creamer, with the popular sweeteners. Located in the hallways are bowls of apples. When I came down for a snack, there was Lynn wearing multiple hats with a smile on her face. I ventured to the business center to use the computer to check for my flight. It was very bright and clean. There was another employee working (a young man that didnt speak). The next morning, I decided to return my car earlier. I couldnt believe Lynn had returned, smiling at the desk again. The car return station was conveniently located across the street from the airport. Since the hotel was so close, I decided to return my car before it was time to check out. Returning to the hotel was a breeze. After returning my car, I walked towards the elevator with the blue light. Once I was out of the elevator, I just walked across the street back to the hotel. My flight was changed four times. I called to the front desk and discovered Lynn was back. Her cheerful voice was so kind and accommodating. Any other time I would be a little nervous about asking for another extension of my check out time. But, she extended my time with no hesitation. When it was time to check out, Lynn drove me to the airport. I have never had such a repor with any other hotel staff. We chatted away like chatting girlfriends. The conversation was so pleasant; I totally forgot to leave her with a tip. She is an amazing HGI employee who wore many hats. I hope the company realizes what a gem they have in her. I will definitely visit again. My biggest regret was not spending more time at this hotel. One night was not enough time. The next time I visit, I will make this hotel my primary stay. Thank you so much Lynn for your warm welcome. Thank you for helping me find the laughter when I was so tired and worn out from my Massachusetts adventure. I cant wait for my next trip to Rhode Island. tripadvisor/ShowUserReviews-g54121-d526780
