Thanks to the lovely people of FREE THE TONE effects pedals in Japan for sending over the Bass Blaster overdrive pedal. What a sound! I wanted a pedal that could create anything from just a touch of drive on the note similar to playing through an almost clean valve amp, to full on fuzzy, clanky dirt... This pedal does all that yet retains the fullness of your bass tone thanks to its warm and clear simple EQ controls. I dont know whether to use this pedal in an always on or special effect situation yet... It really warms up a solid state amplifier. Lovely stuff.
