Thanks you to everyone who helped with Period Piece. Jeff and Mavis, there would have been no film without you. Your ranch and the horses were amazing. Also, I apologize for the times the horses were made to stand too long. Dave Brown, you are such a team player. You allowed me to make this a crazy cool film and dropped some great advice for shots and gags. Don Greenberg, you cranked up the look of this film to %110. What would Period Piece be without you? Andrew Forbes, you worked for the best shot at every second and this film is filled with some killer images. Onalee, you were perfect. We put you through a lot but you were an awesome Rene. Ernesto, I’m so glad to have had the chance to work with you again buddy. It was great when we connected on Billy after so many years! Love your voice. Jason & Jenny you two were perfect. Thanks for agreeing to be part of this. Great expressions and Jenny you nailed that last line like a champ! Sydney and Ali you two were so co-operative. What a great opportunity it was to work with a budding actress/special forces operative. Ryan, Andrew and Harris, how could we have run our crew without you guys? Brilliant, great spirited and wickedly hard working! Caitlin and Gwen (plus Simeon and Taylor), I knew I could count on you! Putting together your own wardrobe, casting seven foot tall friends on one day’s notice and helping Jenn run the cast area. You guys were awesome! Chadd, you have a great look and the camera loves you. Glad you could be part of this crazy film. Lyle, you added one more element to this film that made it cool. Somehow though all the chaos you could always keep the scene straight. So glad you agreed to shoot it with me. BTW you resemble someone very familiar to me. A celebrity. Name escapes me. Jon and Jaeden, you guys were called in last minute and put together your own wardrobes as well. Loved the shades Jaeden, great choice. Jon it was cool to shoot again after almost eleven years. Static still is a great film. If you look carefully you will see Lyle in that film as well. Cher, you were a real professional and kept everyone looking his or her best. I loved your bouncy positive attitude and gung ho drive! Brian, you stepped up and now I’m not sure if this is my film or yours. Awesome job ADing Brian. Looking forward to seeing the assemble edit! Jenn, all the while juggling four commitment you stepped into the shoot like a natural and ran the logistics like a pro. Everything went so smooth. Thank you! Steve Morrisson and William F Whites. You guys came through huge for us! Such awesome supporters of the independent film community! Everyone go like the WFW facebook page right now! Rick Fisher at Video Pool. Rick loaned us the old wood sticks for our prop camera. Every time I see you Rick you are always so welcoming. What a class act! Brad and BJ. Holy cow. What a team. You guys rocked the film. Where would we be if either of you had not been at the shoot. Workhorses. Call me if you need anything. I owe you. Sean, you are such a positive guy. Your intensity toward sound and music is unrivalled. He may look like he is reclining but he is thinking about music. I think you thing about music as much as I think about my films. I got your back if you need anything! Brent, my brother who can do anything and everything. Mounting a 50 cal machine gun, mud racing, trailering in cars, driving actors, operating boom, acting. It doesn’t end. I can always count on you. Roxanne, you are the greatest thing that ever happened to me. You worked so hard shopping and making the food and muffins. I love you. Mike Whitlaw. You are a scary ass looking dude given the right circumstances Mike and I like that about you. Thanks for your drive and determination. You never complained, even after running 50m at full sprint about 20 times in a row. Marj Deluca you did the final script edit and you were right with every one of your suggestions! So glad I changed some of those lines. Ron and George you looked bad ass as the grips. Thanks for helping George out Ron. It was like having another director so George would know what to do. He had a great time on set as it was his first film shoot ever! David you nailed that part. Your mannerisms with your glasses and line deliveries were great. You really prepped your character well. Dan, You kept our stunt performers safe. Thanks for coming out on your busy long weekend to help our little film shoot. The stunt looks great! And a special thank you to family and friend who made it possible for these people to help me on this film by giving rides and picking up shifts at work and any number of things. I had a great time and can’t wait to share the film with you!
