Thats a different way to look at it! Im showing off my new direction in abstract photography. Whether using different types of camera movement, long exposures or photographing textures, I am seeing things a bit different. At least different than my previous landscape photography. I am finding it much more enjoyable to be able to make artwork out of subjects that would normally be passed by. It is a much different process than shooting landscapes. Im intentionally shaking, gliding and throwing my camera to get a whole new take on images. Its sort of like painting with my camera. I love it and I am really excited to see what I can come up with next. Along with photos that involve intentional shake, I am focusing on minimal and macro textures. It has really been an eye opening move from the older work I used to do. I was losing interest in landscapes due to the fact that there are so many landscape photographers and much of the images look exactly the same. I wanted to reignite my creativity and move into a different direction. To compliment my new direction, I am printing on aluminum with and without an acrylic face mount. Furthermore, I am printing these images huge! With the bold colors, and high definition look of the aluminum, these prints really make a statement. All prints come ready to hang and enjoy!
