The 100 Sketches Challenge Ok, I now have masters classes on Saturdays, and Ill probably be missing all our monthly Saturday sessions for a YEAR! So, Im making myself a resolution of filing up my new A4 Jadeco blank notebook which actually has over 100 paper leaves. My personal theme will be about the urban scenes and places of Metro Manila. The challenge is to produce 5 sketches a week, and to finish 100 sketches in 6 months. I will post some and have them numbered to see the progress. Im dedicating a day in my week to going around MM, and probably spend no more than 1 hour per sketch. This is my personal agenda, just to be able to get sketches done quickly with a bit of quality that I like. Anyone whod like to join in, but not necessarily and sketch together is welcome to do the same. Why am I doing this? Carpe diem. I think Ive been procrastinating long enough from doing something crazy like this, and so Im putting my foot down to finally start this. And maybe Ill continue to fill up more sketchbooks.
