The 14 years old girl who was arrested for drawing with chalk on The Lennon Wall in Admiralty, Hong Kong, who was detained for 17 hours once arrested, was ordered to be sent to a girl orphanage for the time being, until 19th January, after the cops applied for a protection order. The magistrate who presided in court today did not see the girls father fit to look after the girl, and denied the fathers plea to have the girl back home. Legal representative for the defendant expressed disappointment in the magistrates verdict, saying that if the cops had the evidence for conviction then they should do so, rather than committing white terror by dragging on the legal process and separating the underage defendant from her father.
