The 2014 Phillip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court problem - TopicsExpress

The 2014 Phillip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court problem addressed the conflict between maritime development and the environment, the salvage of underwater cultural heritage, and extraterritorial criminal jurisdiction on the high seas. In this rigorous competition, teams argue both sides of the legal issues and write the memorials (briefs) for both sides. The issues are argued in English and the memorials are written in English. The Alona E. Evans Award recognizes excellence in Memorial (Brief) writing at the International Rounds of the Phillip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court. Awards are presented to the top ten (10) scoring Teams based on Total Memorial Raw Score (both Applicant and Respondent) in the International Rounds.
