The 2014 WCL Public Interest Loan Repayment Assistance Program (PILRAP) application is now available. PILRAP helps relieve the economic burden imposed by educational debt by providing loan repayment assistance for JD graduates who earn less than $75,000 (PILRAP-II) while working full-time in non-profit or government service. (PILRAP-I participants, graduates from the class of 2007 or before, must make less than $50,000 to qualify). Class of 2013 graduates are eligible to apply this year. To find the application itself, visit wcl.american.edu/finaid/pilrap_application.cfm and review the forms found under “Application Process for 2014.” The application deadline is October 1, 2013. This deadline is earlier than in years past. We have moved up the deadline in an effort to release awards as early as possible in 2014.
